We’re looking for Cloud Engineers who can design, build, and guide enterprise-level cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and M365. Your new role
You’ll be part of a high-impact ICT delivery team, working on projects that shape how government and business interact with technology.
Your responsibilities will include
Designing enterprise cloud architectures (Azure, M365)
Creating high-level and detailed solution designs
Providing technical guidance and impact analysis
Ensuring alignment with government-wide digital standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—analysts, developers, testers, architects
Supporting platform automation (CI/CD, testing, deployment)
Promoting architectural principles: reuse, open access, configuration over customisation
Championing user experience and digital service standards
Leading with strategy, influence, and mentorship
What you'll need to succeed
Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, API Manager
Skilled in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, CI/CD pipelines
Integration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
Proven ability to work with dispersed teams and mentor others
Agile delivery experience with multi-disciplinary teams
Minimum 5 years in cloud architecture and engineering
- Strong technical leadership across projects and operations
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies and architectures
- Experience in application/integration or infrastructure platform architecture
- At least 3 years designing/documenting large enterprise systems
- Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum of Baseline Security Clearance (AGSVA). Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
- Location: Applicants must be based in either Canberra (ACT) or Sydney (NSW) or Melbourne (VIC) and able to work from the local office a couple of days each week, as the role involves regular collaboration and team interaction
