Your new role

As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will lead two critical AWS-based transformation projects. You’ll be responsible for shaping architecture, driving discovery, and adapting SaaS and application tools to fit within complex service and business operations. This is a hands-on, strategic role requiring strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Responsibilities include:

• Lead the implementation of a SaaS-based service operations tool hosted in AWS, including feasibility assessment, localisation for ANZ, and integration into existing service frameworks
• Drive the migration of a mission-critical Genesis call centre platform from on-premise to a cloud-native AWS environment, ensuring seamless integration with BSS systems
• Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to define requirements, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery
• Own the end-to-end architecture and solution design, adapting tools and platforms to meet evolving business needs
• Lead discovery phases, refine technical requirements, and provide architectural leadership across both initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering AWS implementations in complex enterprise environments
• Strong background in BSS systems, ideally within the telecommunications sector
• Ability to lead technical conversations, manage ambiguity, and drive clarity in evolving project scopes
• Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud migration, and vendor engagement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
