Senior Project Engineer - Water Projects

Hays has partnered with a leading provider that manages the delivery and maintenance of quality water and sewerage systems in the Gold Coast area.

Your new role

Our client has been tasked to supply asset life cycle delivery services across the city's water and sewerage networks over the next 10 years.
Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are currently recruiting experienced civil and mechanical senior Project Engineers with backgrounds in the water, waste management, pipeline and pump station projects.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-6 years project engineering experience within the water and/or waste industry in SEQ.
  • Australian Citizen/ Perm Resident only
  • Experience delivering self-perform D&C projects
  • Strong understanding of council spec and water code
  • Engineering degree (civil or mechanical)
  • Driver License
  • RPEQ qualification highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgeting
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage schedules
  • Experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery.
  • Clear and concise communication skills
