Your new role

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping complex projects and mentoring future talent. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering practical, economical, and environmentally responsible solutions to challenging engineering problems
  • Producing high-quality designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, and reports
  • Managing medium to large-scale projects, from pricing and tender submissions to scheduling and delivery
  • Building strong client relationships and staying ahead of industry trends
  • Sharing technical expertise and guiding colleagues on best practices
  • Driving project profitability and ensuring financial, technical, and contractual success

What you'll need to succeed

  • 8+ years’ experience in structural engineering design within a consulting environment
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, high-rise projects essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of BCA requirements and relevant Australian Standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
