Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report on resident health status, including vital signs and general well-being
- Support registered nurses in providing high-quality care
- Maintain resident records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
- Assist in resident mobility and positioning
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans and instructions
- A genuine passion for helping others and a caring attitude
What you'll get in return
