Your new role
- Provide transactional and technical accounting support to the finance team
- Process journals into the general ledger
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations (AP, AR etc)
- Clear open items (e.g. GRIR etc) at end of the reporting period
- Month-end closing activities and quarterly provisioning calculation
- Liaise with internal teams and offshore accounting support team to resolve queries
- Help to develop process improvements in the finance team
- Assist with projects to improve balance sheet management and controls
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–5 years’ accounting experience in a medium to large organisation
- Degree qualified and studying towards CPA
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
- Proven technical accounting and analytical skills
- Experience with implementing process improvements beneficial
- SAP system experience required (or similar ERP systems)
- High level communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
