Our client, the Town of Cottesloe, is seeking an experienced Asset Engineer to join their dynamic team to assist in the management and development of a range of civil infrastructure.

In this pivotal and varied role you will manage existing assets through inspections, and data collection utilising GIS. Specifically you will inspect roads, drainage and footpath assets and map them ensuring that data is correctly maintained. Knowledge of asset capitalization, depreciation and valuation processes is needed as the ability to be able to prepare required reports as needed.

To be considered you will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering and have proven experience in a similar role across civil construction, maintenance and/or asset management. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a great team worker and be able to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Previous Local Government experience is highly desirable.
