The Client supports major asset owners across essential sectors—schools, hospitals, transport, utilities, aged care and community facilities—helping them make informed decisions through high‑quality asset assessment, data collection and reporting.


Your new role

As the Asset Data Specialist, you will be the central point for asset data quality, governance and reporting, supporting both field and office-based project teams. You will:
Configure and manage Fulcrum workflows, digital forms and data capture processes
Prepare, cleanse, validate and maintain asset registers and supporting reference data
Perform complex data manipulation and modelling using Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivots, advanced functions; macros desirable)
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver insights on asset performance, lifecycle trends, compliance and risk
Conduct rigorous QA/QC checks to ensure complete, structured and reliable asset information
Collaborate with field assessors and the project delivery team to ensure timely, accurate, and quality asset data
Identify issues with data structure, workflow or system integration and recommend improvements
Support lifecycle modelling and portfolio analytics through clean and structured data
Assist with integrating data from field systems and digital platforms
Contribute to organisational improvement through lessons learnt, recommendations and workflow automation initiatives


What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will bring:
Experience with asset data, asset registers, condition assessments, or asset information systems
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data transformation, modelling and validation
Proven experience using Fulcrum for field data capture and workflow optimisation
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including automation of reporting
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
A proactive approach, strong problem‑solving capability, and a continuous improvement mindset
