Your new role

• Assisting with the maintenance and integrity of the Fixed Asset Register, including capitalisations, transfers, disposals and write‑offs
• Providing accurate financial information to support asset life‑cycle costing and investment decisions
• Coordinating the annual fixed asset stocktake and ensuring results are captured and validated
• Collaborating with asset maintainers and project managers to ensure correct classification and recognition of assets
• Supporting the revaluation of fixed assets, including data preparation and review
• Assisting with the determination, analysis and reporting of budget and actual depreciation.
• Preparing reports and documentation relating to fixed assets to support audit, governance and financial reporting

What you'll need to succeed

• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce, with eligibility for CPA/CA/IPA
• Experience in asset accounting and asset management practices, including capitalisation and depreciation
• Strong understanding of accrual-based financial management and experience using corporate accounting systems
• Well‑developed communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and documentation
• Sound analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve fixed asset issues
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
