Your new role

Working within the Mobility Portfolio, the Program Change Leads will be responsible for leading and implementing a complex range of change management functions for 2 significant programs of work. These include the Mobile Workforce Program (MWP), which is focused on delivering personally issued mobile devices to improve frontline capability, and the Digital Workforce Program (DWP), which will rollout M365 across SAPOL. Together, these programs represent a multi-year technology transformation program designed by police, for police that will deliver wide-reaching technology upgrades across SAPOL to improve the safety and operational efficiency of SAPOL sworn and unsworn staff.
The roles will execute and manage all organisational change-related activities and outcomes of the MWP and DWP within the IS&T Service.

Reporting to the Mobility Portfolio Change Manager, the incumbents will work closely with individuals and teams across SAPOL to prepare and support them with changes associated with implementation of new or improved systems and technology. The Change Leads will work collaboratively with IS&T staff to ensure successful project implementation, and will guide and support OCM Change Analysts to keep them on track to delivery.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant and demonstrated experience in developing, coordinating and delivering change management initiatives in a complex environment with a focus on adoption, efficiency gains and cultural and behavioural change.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the standards, tools, methods and processes involved in organisational change management.
  • Experience in maintaining effective relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders, including conflict resolution and managing expectations.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale strategic programs of work with an ability to drive change simultaneously at enterprise and user levels.
  • Leadership capabilities - to guide, motivate, innovate and provide sustainable change delivery.
  • Resilience and tenacity, with an ability to adapt to ambiguous situations.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating and maintaining change artefacts.
  • A delivery focus, helping drive change activities in support of program milestones.


Salary
ASO7 $106,512 – 115,137 per annum plus super.
