Your New CompanyJoin a thriving State Government Organisation as an experienced Archivist on a temporary basis. If you are an enthusiastic individual with knowledge of PROV, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team for a temporary contract until December 2025.
Your New RoleIn this role, you will provide records and information management services. Specifically, the Records Management Archivist will support and manage the review, appraisal, and sentencing of records, including:
- Updating/reviewing indexes and registers for accurate information
- Reviewing and appraising indexed/catalogued records from spreadsheets or EDRMS
- Appraising and sentencing all records using the following PROV Retention and Disposal Authorities:
- PROS 12/06 – RDA for Records of Water Industry Functions
- PROS 07/01 – RDA for Records of Common Administrative Functions (if required)
- PROS 24/03 - RDA for Records of the Human Resources Management Function
- Manual handling of physical files and cartons
- Providing professional advice as required
What You’ll Need to Succeed- Attention to detail
- Advanced written and verbal communication
- Working knowledge of PROV RDAs
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the business
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent time management
Further DetailsProficient knowledge of the following is required:
- OpenText Content Server (or other Electronic Document Records Management System)
- Teams/SharePoint
- MS Word and Excel
Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in Library Science, Record Management, or Information Management fields, along with commensurate industry experience, are expected.
