This well-respected organisation with multiple sites, nationally, is seeking assistance within their Brisbane-based finance team.

Your new role

You will be taking on the tasks of the Accounts Receivable officer, to support aged debtor collections across three entities on a short-term contract (4–6 weeks).
This is a hands-on role focused on reducing aged balances, with a handover provided by the current incumbent. You’ll step in and quickly take ownership of debtor accounts, working from existing notes and communications.

Duties include:
Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices via phone and email.
Secure payment commitments and manage collection timelines.
Identify, log, and help resolve disputes in collaboration with Business Units.
Apply payments to invoices accurately in the system.
Assist in clearing and improving the aged debtor report.

What you'll need to succeed

Starting immediately, you will have previous experience in Accounts Receivable or collections, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be comfortable working with ERP systems. You will be self-motivated and able to pick things up quickly with minimal supervision and able to work at pace and deliver results in a short-term assignment.
