Your new role

As a general labourer on an aquaculture farm, you will work alongside existing staff who are responsible for daily operations and ensuring the health and wellbeing of stock. Key duties will include:

  • General farm labouring
  • Assisting with feeding and monitoring fish stock
  • Maintaining pens, nets and farm infrastructure
  • Supporting harvesting and grading activities
  • Operating machinery and adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Previous experience in aquaculture, agriculture, or similar industries is desirable but not essential.
