Your new company
Our client is a large, high-profile Federal Government Department who are at the forefront of promoting and protecting Australia’s international interests. They are seeking a Site Security Observer from February 2026 to oversee and observe construction workers and others on site on projects overseas.
Your new role
- Monitor and observe personnel within designated worksite areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
- Inspect and audit materials brought onto site, reporting and containing any suspicious items.
- Operate and manage technical security equipment on site.
- Identify and report suspicious behaviour or security breaches.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant WHS and construction experience, particularly in site safety and risk management in overseas or high-security environments.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment up to 30kg.
- Competence in using basic hand and power tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on operational outcomes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High standards in observation, reporting, and documentation.
- Experience operating CCTV and alarm systems.
- Exceptional communication across all organisational levels.
- Ability to travel overseas
- You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.

- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Crystalline Silica exposure Prevention
