Your new company

Join a fast-paced and dynamic media team within a Federal Government department located in Canberra. You and your team will be providing media advice and services to the broader department. You will be engaging with journalists and media outlets to support the department’s objectives.

Your new role

Your strong written communication skills and excellent attention-to-detail will see you creating high-quality media products, preparing talking points, writing speeches and editorials from enquiry to delivery. Your ability to communicate relationally will see you developing key relationships with media outlets and negotiating with key stakeholders. You will work on a rostered system during business hours and have the ability to work flexibly on occasional “out-of-scope” projects. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support and mentor team members.
