Your New RoleYou will be responsible for:
- Facilitating risk workshops to identify, assess, and document strategic, operational, and project risks.
- Applying the Risk Management Framework to manage risks, incidents, and issues across diverse business areas.
- Providing clear, practical risk advice to stakeholders, including senior leaders, to support informed decision-making.
- Maintaining and improving risk registers, issue logs, and associated reporting.
- Supporting the monitoring, review, and treatment of risks, ensuring controls are effective and fit for purpose.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influencing risk-aware
What You Will Need to SucceedThe successful applicant will demonstrate:- Proven experience in a risk-focused role, including facilitating risk workshops and applying a risk management framework.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build networks, influence stakeholders, and negotiate outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, issues, and emerging risks.
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments such as government or large regulated organisations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timeframes
- Qualifications in Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
The Logistics
- Full time opportunity, 12 month contract (with view for extension/permeancy).
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Hourly rate of $60.26 + super.
- Locations available in Geelong VIC, Richmond VIC, or Robina QLD.
- Australian Citizenship is required.
