APS6 Financial Accountant

Your New Company
We have partnered with an organisation seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join the team. As a key member of the financial accounting department, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial reporting.
Your New Role
  • Assist with preparing and meeting financial reporting requirements.
  • Take responsibility for the monthly financial reporting tasks.
  • Complete inputs into the central budget management system and prepare briefs for senior management.
  • Prepare the annual financial statements and briefs for reporting.
  • Liaise with and action ANAO requests.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable records and review GST and BAS.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain.
What You’ll Get in Return
You will be given an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension with a flexible working arrangement with work from home options when established.
