Your new role
Be a critical support in the implementation of an integrated procurement system or enhancing corporate procurement functions. Four exciting opportunities are now available within the agency’s corporate procurement team. Each offering a unique path to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact:
EL1 ICT Procurement Project Manager (Permanent S26 transfer)
Lead the procurement process for a major integrated system implementation.
Strategic ICT procurement leadership
Collaboration with Whole-of-Government ERP Panel
Experience managing complex procurement projects
Familiarity with ERP systems and government panels
APS6 ICT Procurement Project Officer (Permanent S26 transfer)
Support high-value ICT procurement activities alongside the EL1 lead.
Strong understanding of ICT procurement processes
Ability to support high-value procurement activities
Coordination and documentation of procurement deliverables
APS6 Corporate Procurement Officer (ongoing)
Drive corporate procurement advisory and compliance across the agency.
Deep knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
Ability to provide strategic advice and workflow improvement
Value-add mindset across the procurement lifecycle
Innovative thinking to improve procurement workflows
APS6 Procurement Reporting Officer (12 month non-ongoing)
Own the reporting function across key procurement metrics and obligations.
Experience with procurement reporting, including Senate Estimates, Annual Reports, Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP), and AusTender
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you will:
Have sound knowledge and experience of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
Have strong mentoring capabilities to guide internal stakeholders through procurement phases
Have experience in high-value, high-risk procurements
Ability to think beyond standard procedures and contribute to strategic procurement outcomes
Familiarity with or ability to enhance existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
