APS5 Finance Officer

Your new role

Are you an experienced Finance Operations Officer? With Federal Government experience? This is the role for you. Seeking an eager individual to provide support to the corporate finance group over end of financial year activities. In your new role you will be responsible for, though not limited to:

• Daily management of the Treasury Function and cash management.
• Manage mailbox queries and ensure timely action of daily & monthly operational tasks.
• Assist the Financial Accountant with accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely processing of accounts payable through shared services.
• Support management of travel and credit cards.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a self-starter who has experience working within the Federal Government in a similar capacity. You will need to be a clear, concise communicator who enjoys engaging with internal and external stakeholders with resilience to working within a changing environment.

The preferred candidate will be an Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA recognised Baseline Security Clearance.
