Your new Federal Government agency is seeking an APS5 Executive Assistant to join a high-profile division that plays a key role in national regulation and governance due to upcoming staff movements.
Your new role
As the APS5 Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to a Division Head. You will act as a central point of coordination across the division and with senior stakeholders. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day communications with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate information flow between the executive and senior leadership team
Monitor incoming correspondence, set priorities, and track responses
Prepare briefing packs, meeting papers, and executive correspondence
Provide diary, travel, and inbox management
Reconcile travel expenses and corporate credit card statements
Arrange meetings, venues, agendas, papers, and minutes
Support divisional coordination and the executive assistant network
Assist with procurement, budgeting, and records management
Provide support to other senior managers as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience as an executive assistant in a Government or corporate setting. You will also have:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
Clear and confident communication skills
Experience preparing executive correspondence and briefing materials
Sound knowledge of financial processes and records management
