education and careers. Working within the Student Identifiers Register (OSIR)
Branch, you will collaborate with states and territories on the national
vision.
Your new role
As a Policy, Data and Compliance Officer ,
you will play a vital role in supporting the development of services within a
Federal Government Department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing communications and consultations with Ministers and relevant teams.
- Developing and advising on policy in relation to changes to legislation and regulation.
- Investigate alleged data breaches and where required, refers matters on for further investigation.
- Meeting collective deliverables and where required, working across section functions including providing support for development of briefs, reports and committee papers, communication activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide assistance and support to the contact centre through the creation and maintenance of policy and procedural documents as well as the facilitation of training.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for these roles, you will meet the following criteria:
- Have an analytical mindset.
- Well-developed oral and written communication.
- The ability to interpret legislation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Relevant experience within Policy, Data and or Compliance.
