Your new roleThis Application Support role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of the Council’s software applications. This position is primarily focused on supporting and enhancing the
Technology One ERP system, while also managing incidents, troubleshooting application issues, and maintaining system stability across the broader application landscape.
Key responsibilities- Provide Level 2–3 support for ERP and software applications, focusing on troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor application performance and reliability, taking proactive steps to prevent system downtime.
- Respond to and resolve application-related incidents, escalating complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Investigate recurring problems to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Support and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
