Your new role
Your responsibilities include:
Leading and Mentoring: Guide a category-based team of procurement professionals, ensuring an efficient and effective environment that delivers quality services and value for money outcomes.
Project Coordination: Manage significant procurement projects in cooperation with key stakeholders, addressing risk, probity, and transparency requirements.
Contract Administration: Collaborate with Contract Managers to administer complex contracts following the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
Specialist Advice: Provide expert procurement/contract and commercial advice.
Reporting and Systems: Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain systems for workload management and resource allocation
What you'll need to succeed
Queensland Government Level 4 Procurement Certification (Desirable): Demonstrated expertise in procurement.
Technical Experience: Proficiency in SAP.
Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with the Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework.
