Your new company:Hays has partnered with a Large State Government Agency. This is an opportunity to join the team on a contract from 28th May 2024 to 19th July 2024 in the Brisbane CBD.
Your new role:In this role you will be required to provide policy advice and program support related to the requirements of the agency.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Possess knowledge and experience in strategic policy development and legislative reform processes.
- Conduct comprehensive strategic policy research and development at both national and international levels.
- Respond to government priorities.
- Contribute to improved outcomes for the community and industry.
- Identify and measure fiscal, regulatory, and community impacts associated with policy reform.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing various project aspects, including integration, scope, timelines, costs, quality, communications, risks, and procurement.
- Proven ability to prepare high-standard documents, including Cabinet submissions, options papers, reports, briefings, and sensitive correspondence.
What you'll need to succeed: - Due to this role of having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role
- A degree qualification in project management, humanities, law or science or other relevant fields are desirable.
- Prior state government experience is beneficial.
