Join a dynamic government team within a central procurement function. As part of either the ICT & Infrastructure team, General Goods & Services team or the Disaster Management team you will be working as part of a small team that administers the undertaking of strategic procurement projects and contract management activities relating to high value/high risk procurement activities

Your new role

• Manage strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Deliver high quality procurement advice and services covering procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management including sound ICT Category Management functions
• Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems compliance
• Exercise a Procurement Delegation for sourcing activities
• Administer contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers
• Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract related issues

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced procurement professional with experience working with goverment. Ideally you will have:

• Highly desirable Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent
• Experience in SAP
• Knowledge of the Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework

What you'll get in return

This is a contract role initially till June 30th. You will get paid at AO6 rate of $71.67 + super per hour. You will work in a dynamic team and once you are settled in the role can take up hybrid working options. You will be based in Brisbane CBD
