A well-known Queensland Government Department is seeking an experienced Administration Expert to join their Accounts Receivable Team.
Your new role
- Support the Accounts Receivable team in debt recovery activities
- Distribute client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Engage in debtor communications via phone and email, and maintain reporting records
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Address and resolve internal and external customer queries
- Raise credit notes to correct billing errors
- Maintain and update records in the debt management database
What you'll need to succeed
- Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
- Fast and accurate data entry skills, with the ability to understand and verify the information being processed to minimise errors
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability in handling various document types in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a focus on speed and precision
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while remaining engaged and capable of supporting other team functions as needed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Initiative-driven and capable of managing tasks autonomously
- Standard working hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (maximum of 38 hours per week)
