Analytical Chemist

Support data-driven analytical science that directly supports manufacturing and product quality

Your new company

Join a business where science genuinely shapes the world. Botanical Resources Australia (BRA) is a global leader in natural pyrethrum production — a Tasmanian success story built on decades of scientific expertise, with a long-standing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence. As BRA continues to grow their scientific capability to meet growing global demand, this new opportunity has emerged as part of the analytical team. Join an industry-leading team that invests in people, celebrates expertise, and fosters a culture where scientific contribution matters.

Your new role

As an Analytical Chemist, you will be at the heart of a laboratory where precision, innovation, and commercial impact intersect. Every analysis you perform directly supports product quality, customer confidence, and operational decision-making. You’ll work hands-on with advanced chromatographic technologies and develop and refine the analytical methods that underpin production outcomes. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the scientific backbone of a unique manufacturing process, collaborate with talented colleagues, tackle complex analytical challenges, and gain exposure to a truly end-to-end manufacturing ecosystem supported by modern instrumentation and accredited quality systems.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring a strong grounding in chemistry, a passion for accuracy, and a genuine desire to work in a team where scientific excellence is the norm. Your ability to think critically, communicate clearly and contribute meaningfully to continuous improvement will set you apart. BRA offers the kind of environment where curiosity is encouraged, and high standards are matched with genuine support.

What you'll get in return

You will join a team that takes pride in its craft and values your growth. BRA offers a culture where your contribution has a visible impact, where learning is continuous, and where modern facilities enable you to sharpen your expertise. You’ll enjoy the stability of a globally recognised organisation combined with the personal connection of a tight-knit Tasmanian team. This is your chance to build a long-term career in a field that is both scientifically fascinating and commercially meaningful.
