I’m currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Administrator position with a well-established Building Consultancy Firm located on the outskirts of Sydney CBD.
This company is involved in some of the largest and most complex developments across a diverse range of sectors, including aged care, education, healthcare, entertainment and public spaces, as well as commercial and industrial projects.
This client is looking for a proactive and organised Administrator who enjoys juggling multiple tasks, pays close attention to detail, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit for you. Candidates with previous experience in architecture, building, construction or engineering industries would be desired.
This role does require you to work from the office 5 days a week, Monday–Friday 8.30am-5pm.

Your new role
Preparation of documents (certificates) and correspondence, and reviewing documentation
Preparation of fee proposals and tenders, presentations, and reports
Managing registers and ensuring legislative reporting requirements are met
Use of online Portals (eg. Planning Portal)
Managing project expenses and tracking invoicing
Diary management and meeting coordination
Electronic file management including use of various systems such as Aconex and SharePoint
Travel Bookings/arrangements
Liaison with clients and external stakeholders
General office support including mail, reception, kitchen duties and ordering supplies/amenities
What you'll need to succeed
Strong time management skills
Strong or excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
Initiative and ‘can-do’ attitude
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritise
Information management
An interest in architecture, building, construction or engineering
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams
Willingness to undertake training
Completion of a Certificate of Business Administration or similar qualifications would be advantageous and highly regarded.
