A government organisation undergoing significant sector reform is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join their high‑energy, fast‑paced team. You will contribute to key project activities by providing accurate, reliable and process‑driven administrative support.
Your new role
In this 6‑month assignment, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality administrative support, including:
- Contract administration tasks such as mail merges, preparing outbound correspondence, and verifying information.
- Maintaining accurate document management in accordance with government record‑keeping requirements
- Supporting the coordination, tracking and recording of decisions and actions
- Assisting with task management to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with solid Excel capabilities essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to quickly learn and navigate new government systems
- A strong process orientation and confidence following established workflows
- High‑level written communication skills, particularly in professional email correspondence
