Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Officer, the primary function of the Administrative Assistant position is to provide efficient support across both the administrative and finance streams.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Review all emails received and distribute them accordingly
- Respond to enquiries from customers and clients
- Order items required by Events/Bar
- Ensuring stocktake information is available at all times and in particular at the end of the month.
- Data entry of payables and receivables as required by the Finance Officer
- Preparation of float sheets as required by the Finance Officer and control processes associated with distribution and collection of floats
- Set up prior to events at tills in readiness for the day and finalisation of those at the end of the day.
- Ensure dry-cleaning is organised, uniforms available for staff and items if required
- Identify improvements on procedures and discuss those with the Event/bar Manager.
- Co-ordinate cleaning rosters and rubbish rosters
What you'll need to succeed
Required skills, experience, and attributes include:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience in Administration or a similar field
- Effective computer skills
- Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence.
