The company supplies high‑volume products to commercial and retail customers and operates within a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment. It is known for its focus on quality, compliance, and operational efficiency, with structured processes supporting logistics, administration, and invoicing functions.

Your new role

As the Administration Officer, you will be supporting a busy but variable operating environment. The role is offered on a temporary basis initially, with a strong opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an environment that can be very busy on some days and quieter on others, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to self-manage during downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, candidates, and internal stakeholders
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails professionally
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations and management team
  • Assist with drafting invoices (training provided; no invoice processing required)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Support day-to-day operational requirements across the team
  • Assist with meeting coordination
  • Manage fluctuating workloads efficiently

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a Reception, Administration, or Office Support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working efficiently in both busy and quiet periods
  • Good computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft suite
  • Exposure to invoice drafting or financial administration (not essential – training provided)
  • Experience in a fast-paced or operational environment
