Administration Officer

Seeking a Part-Time Administration Officer to join a collaborative State Government Department.
Your new company
This State Government Department is responsible for protecting and promoting the rights of all South Australians. They are seeking an Administration Officer to join their team on a Part-Time Basis. Mondays and Thursdays with additional days as required.

Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating independently with minimal supervision.
  • Handling large volumes of work within tight and/or inflexible deadlines.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Managing sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion.
  • Scanning and renaming documents efficiently.
  • Printing and organising physical documents in a consistent and orderly manner.
  • Using mail merge for document preparation.
  • Performing various administrative tasks, such as collecting mail and making electronic edits to documents that have been physically marked up.

What you'll need to succeed:
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support services.
  • Strong software proficiency, in particular Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential matters and materials with discretion.
Please note: in order to be considered for this role, you will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance.
