A respected regional government organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property & Fleet Coordinator to support the delivery of essential services across a large geographical area. This is a unique opportunity to manage critical infrastructure and resources that directly support frontline staff in a dynamic and community-focused environment.

Your new role

  • Coordinating the sourcing, leasing, and maintenance of staff and commercial properties.
  • Managing tenancy agreements, property registers, and compliance documentation.
  • Overseeing procurement and setup of furnished accommodation, including utilities and equipment.
  • Conducting property inspections and managing insurance claims.
  • Administering rental reconciliations, arrears recovery, and annual rental reviews.
  • Supporting internal accommodation committees and compiling FBT data.
  • Managing the regional fleet in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Maintaining vehicle registers, coordinating leases, and ensuring servicing schedules are met.
  • Reviewing utilisation data and implementing strategies to optimise fleet performance.
  • Processing invoices and compiling FBT data related to fleet operations.
  • Supporting policy development and ensuring compliance with government vehicle management standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in property or fleet management, ideally within a government or regional context.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policy, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant asset management systems.
