Your new role
As the Receptionist/Administration Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in supporting daily office operations. Responsibilities include:
• Collecting and distributing daily mail, including ATO correspondence
• Managing phones, emails, and calendar appointments for Partners
• Greeting clients and maintaining a tidy reception area
• Coordinating client document collection and tax return follow-ups
• Processing incoming payments and monthly disbursements
• Handling creditor payments and trust account reconciliations
• Preparing cover letters and maintaining accurate records
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Experience in reception/administration, ideally in an accounting firm
• Familiarity with Xero Practice Manager and ASIC Corporate Compliance
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
