Administration and Customer Service Officer

Seeking an admin and customer service professional experienced in managing vulnerable or emotional clientele.

They are currently seeking an experienced administration and customer service officer to join their CBD-based team on a full-time temporary basis. Your new role
This role offers variety and the chance to develop your skills in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. You will be responsible for:
  • Triaging incoming phone calls, with the opportunity to grow into client-facing communications.
  • Scanning documents, sorting and distributing incoming mail.
  • Data entry including setting up files and recording activities throughout the process.
  • Providing general support to various teams with ad hoc administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Resilience in speaking to emotionally heightened or vulnerable clients.
  • Confidence using technology and managing data.
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative.
Previous experience in a government or legal setting will be highly regarded but is not essential.
