Our state government client, based in Perth, is seeking a driven Administration Assistant to join their busy team. Our client is seeking someone to commence as soon as possible. This will be a temporary contract arrangement with the expectation of working a full-time government working week of 37.5 hours.
Your new role
Office Management – Handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
Document Preparation – Drafting emails, reports, and presentations.
Data Entry & Organisation – Managing databases and tracking important deadlines.
Communication & Support – Assisting employees, clients, and visitors with enquiries.
Travel & Event Coordination – Booking travel arrangements and organising office events.
Supply Management – Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.
What you'll need to succeed
Organisation & Time Management – Keeping schedules, files, and tasks in order.
Communication – Strong written and verbal skills for emails, reports, and interactions.
Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in documents and administrative tasks.
Problem-Solving – Handling unexpected challenges efficiently.
Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
