Great opportunity to join a well-established organisation based in Kingsgrove. The team are looking for a proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join their busy Finance team. You will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. Your work will directly contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the business.
Your new roleYour daily responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable ledger
- Generate and send invoices to clients
- Follow up on outstanding payments via phone and email
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare regular reports and escalate overdue accounts
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Certificate IV or higher in Accounting or Finance
