Your new role
- Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in accordance with government financial policies.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers and departmental staff to ensure timely payments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance administration role.
- Knowledge of government financial systems and procedures (desirable).
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
