Your new company
This Australian-based company that operates across a growing industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their stable finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This newly created position will be based in their Fortitude Valley offices, which have extensive lunchtime eating options and are located close to public transport connections.
Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supplier maintenance
- High volume invoice processing
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Creditor reconciliations
- Petty cash management
- Handling any queries via phone and email from suppliers
- Assisting with accounts receivable as required
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
Experience in high volume Accounts Payable, ideally within the commercial sector
Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes
Ability to work well as part of a team
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and be committed to providing excellent customer service
