Our client is an exploration mining company based in Perth's CBD. They are looking to grow their team with an Accounts Officer to work closely with the Company Accountant. Your new role
- Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices
- Handling general supplier enquiries
- Verify financial data
- Undertake end-of-month processes and related reconciliations - reconciling Supplier Invoices to Statements
- Record management
- Provide administration support - Adhoc assistance for management
- General office duties: filing and file management, Email management and correspondence with clients
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and XERO accounting system
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A 'can-do' attitude in order to work in a growing business and contribute to other tasks outside the job scope.
