Your new role

As an Accounts Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial and administrative operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing payroll and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with BAS preparation and month-end reporting
  • Performing bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Coding and reconciling credit card transactions
  • Generating reports using MYOB and Salesforce
  • Supporting donation processing and record management
  • Coordinating digitisation projects and volunteer support

What you'll need to succeed

  • Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Business Administration
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts and payroll processing
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Office, and ideally Salesforce
  • Experience working in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly
  • Respectful and inclusive approach to working with others
  • Supportive approach with the willingness to jump in and help others when needed
  • Current (or willing to obtain an Employer) Working With Children Check and Police Check
