Your new role
This temporary Accounts Officer role offers a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of the finance team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing accounts payable transactions
- Processing accounts receivable transactions
- Daily cash management and reconciliation processes
- End-to-end accounts payable duties, including reconciliation and reporting
- Reconciling company credit cards and inbound/outbound travellers’ accounts
- Managing daily cash accounts, petty cash, and preparing the daily cash report
- Maintaining the receivables ledger
- Providing general finance-related support
- Reconciling goods received not yet delivered
Experience with Xero is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage in this role.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivables
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills
