This company provides industrial maintenance and support services across Queensland, specialising in mechanical, electrical, and structural work. Focused on safety, efficiency, and reliability, with experience in servicing heavy equipment and infrastructure in mining and milling environments.

Your new role

• Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data
• Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures
• Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges
• Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders
• Accounts Payable Management
• Handling customer enquiries regarding billing issues
• Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
• General Administration Support across the business as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar account-related role
• Strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail
• Friendly and professional demeanour with a strong work ethic
• Advanced computer literacy; fluent in Word, Excel and Outlook

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will be offered an immediate start working with a dynamic team at the fast-paced office in Paget. You will be offered an attractive hourly rate of $38/hr + Super, with an initial 6-month temporary contract with Hays and the opportunity to go permanent after that.
