This growing Queensland-based company that works in a thriving sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Working in a collaborative finance team, the position will be based in their Milton offices, which are located close to various public transport options.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Processing invoices into the system
- Assisting with payment runs
- Supplier reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers regarding accounts
- Data entry of timesheets
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Handling any queries via phone and email
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Experience in accounts processing, ideally within the commercial sector
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and be committed to providing excellent customer service
