About the role
Great opportunity to join a well-established organisation based in RIverwood. Due to expansion and growth, the team are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the smooth operation of our financial activities. This position offers flexible hours and would suit someone looking to contribute their accounting skills in a structured, team‑focused environment.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including
Providing hands‑on support across core finance functions
Reviewing and matching bank activity to internal records to ensure balances are accurate
Entering supplier invoices, preparing payments and assisting with routine pay runs
Recording customer payments and helping keep receivables up to date
Distributing statements to customers and professionally following up outstanding amounts
Keeping financial information organised and up to date within accounting systems
Using Excel to perform simple reconciliations, checks and data updates
Assisting the finance team with general administrative tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or finance support role
Familiarity with day‑to‑day accounting processes
Intermediate MS Office skills
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Good communication skills and a professional manner
Experience of using MYOB is an advantage
