Your new role

As an Admin Assistant – Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and broader finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a varied position combining accounting support, administration and payroll backup responsibilities.
Key duties will include:
  • Processing operational transactions and timesheet data to support accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Assisting with the preparation and issuance of customer invoices
  • Supporting credit applications and debt collection processes
  • Providing administrative support across the business units, including handling general office enquiries
  • Assisting with payroll processes (weekly and fortnightly) as backup support
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Experience in a similar accounting/admin role
  • Exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, finance or business-related disciplines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
  • Confidence working across multiple systems and platforms
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must have your own transport to work.
