Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership to the finance team, including coaching, developing, and supporting staff while ensuring smooth operational performance.
- Ensure accuracy across all client accounts, manage issue resolution, and oversee key financial processes such as month‑end journals, reconciliations, reporting, payroll preparation, tax obligations, and cash flow updates.
- Deliver high‑quality financial reporting and analysis by preparing management and statutory reports, driving FP&A activities, producing forecasts, and offering insights that guide planning and executive decision‑making.
- Manage the consolidation of results across multiple entities, maintaining strong reconciliation standards and supplying reliable financial information for monthly and quarterly reviews, while completing ad‑hoc accounting tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- CPA or CA qualified
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with Xero
