Accountant role in Brisbane CBD | $80,000 - $85,000 + Super | Permanent role

Your new company

This growing company that operates across Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their high-performing finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be based in their corporate offices, which are in Brisbane CBD, close to various public transport links and lunchtime dining options. They also offer 2 days WFH per week after 3-months employment.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Complete month-end process
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • BAS / IAS reporting
  • Monthly management reporting
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Budgeting
  • Reviewing debtors, creditors and reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a finance-based role where you have been responsible for month-end accounting, reconciling accounts and compliance
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling you to build strong rapport with internal stakeholders and clients.
