The successful candidate will assist with audit readiness, accounting standard implementation, reconciliations, and process improvement activities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Your new role
The role requires you to provide critical support to the Finance team during this transition period.
Key responsibilities:
Support the preparation for the financial year-end audit.
Assist in maintaining internal controls and documentation of accounting procedures and policies.
Assist with drafting memorandums for the application of Accounting Standards of the entities.
Collaborate closely with the Australian finance team to ensure accuracy and consistency across entities.
Contribute to process improvement and ad hoc finance projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or relevant tertiary education.
Experience in mid-to-large business environments, ideally using Net-Suite or Oracle.
Strong analytical and Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience with audit and accounting standards; ex. Auditor experience is desirable
