Your new role
Maintain sales coverage of the customer base as assigned through effective Territory call planning and account management principles.
Service, maintain and grow existing reseller accounts through identification and proactive actioning of sales opportunities
Achieve budgeted sales revenue in a competitive market ensuring achievement of product and territory segment revenue targets
Stay aware of customer needs & requirements, ensuring customers are satisfied & encouraged to repeat business
Providing accurate feedback into the business and CRM console regarding market dynamics, trends, and customer & competitor activities.
Ensure all customers understand the company’s product and service offer including both off-the-shelf (stock) & fabricated lines
Follow up all quotations in a timely manner, work with the sales team to maximise conversions of quotations to sales orders & revenue
Actively prepare regular reports and analysis of new business achievements, opportunities, and targets.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the construction or heavy engineering industry.
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications well regarded.
Proven success managing sales territories and driving revenue growth.
Strong relationship building skills with a consultative, customer first approach.
Ability to learn product applications quickly and explain them confidently.
